SERDP/ESTCP contracted with GSI Environmental of Houston to produce a document entitled "Frequently Asked Questions About Monitored Natural Attenuation in the 21st Century". The document updates information in EPA MNA documents (mostly produced prior to 2000). It is in a question and answer format and includes discussion on emerging compounds (e.g. 1,4-dioxane) as well as chlorinated solvents.
I was one of the four external peer reviewers of the draft document along with Dr. John Wilson of the EPA. The final document was released in Feb 2014 and is available via download or in interactive form.
